I’ve added an open source version of Twitter to my sidebar called Identi.ca. It’s still very beta, but doesn’t seem to have all of the trouble that Twitter has been having recently. Oh… did I say it was open source?

Feel free to follow me (or whatever it’s called over there) if you decide to sign up.

Edit: Figures. Identi.ca doesn’t seem to be up at the moment… So much for having none of the problems that Twitter has.

There has been quite a lot going on in my household recently. I can’t go in to details, but the end result is that Amber and I are having to live apart from each other for a short time. I don’t believe in separation, but this is not only not an optional separation, but it may actually be for the better. The end result is certainly clear. Getting our family back together and in a more healthy shape than it has probably ever been in. There will be rough times, but we will fight on for each other and the kids no matter what.

I guess not only do I want to update people with what we’ve been going through lately, but also to acknowledge my love and adoration for the most beautiful woman alive. She has been more than a Godsend to me during our 10 years of being together (of which 7 have been being married to her). The Lord has allowed me to hold such a precious and wonderful person, whom I know I don’t deserve in the least. She has always been supportive even during this rocky patch in our lives. As I said in one of my twits, Amber is the most precious and important person in my life. I want to grow old with her, share hopes and dreams, and live life out to the extent in which God has asked of us. Words cannot describe how I love and feel for her, so I will leave it at this.

Please pray for a speedy restitution of our family. God only knows that not only do Amber and I need it, but our kids do as well.

So, expect another reign of silence from this setting. I’ll be leaving my computer with Amber for the duration of our separation. If you are going to be needing to get in touch with me, then you can contact Amber via the usual routes, or me via my cell phone. I may get the chance to check email or whatever, but I don’t expect that will be very often at all.

So… Goodbye for now…

Just published a new Twitter, and noticed that the Flash widget doesn’t properly know how to deal with HTML’s ". So now it looks all wrong in my sidebar… Frustrating.

New Everything

Here we are. A new look, a new blog and a new… well, everything.

As you can probably tell, I’ve thought it a good idea just to start over. I doubt I’ll be posting much. But, at least this is more pleasant to the eyes. All of my old work is gone, the new will hopefully be much better.

I’ve upgraded to WordPress 2.5, All I can say is, “Wow”. WordPress 2.5 is just an amazing upgrade to the 2.x branch. I will slowly upgrade the others to it as well… Except for my already upgraded brother, who can do it himself.

So here’s to change! Cheers!
